The Fire Industry Association (FIA) held its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, at which the holders of elected posts are confirmed.
We are pleased to confirm that Clark Priestley, DAB Fire Engineering Technical and Production Manager, has been re-elected to the FIA Extinguishing Council for his fourth consecutive two-year term. The work of the FIA Councils ensures that appropriate FIA Working Groups are tasked with the work where contributions to British, European, or International Standards, or UK related FIA Guidance Notes, are required. For FIA publications, the relevant FIA Council is then responsible for final review and authorisation for publication of FIA documents. This work is for the benefit of the UK Fire Industry as a whole.
